Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, made a grand appearance at the IIJS Signature 2025, being held in Mumbai. The prestigious jewellery show, organised by the Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), is scheduled to take place from January 4 to 7 at the Jio World Convention Centre and continues from January 5 to 8 at the Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
The event garnered considerable attention and attracted over 25,000 trade visitors from over 800 cities across India and around 60 countries. It had over 1,500 exhibitors and around 3,000 stalls. This year’s edition highlights India’s growing role in the global jewellery market, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and international partnerships.
In his inaugural address, GJEPC Chairman Vipul Shah highlighted the alignment of IIJS Signature with India’s vision for development and sustainability in the jewellery sector. He stressed the importance of integrating traditional skills with cutting-edge technologies to drive industry growth. The event serves as a vital platform for networking and collaboration among industry professionals, reinforcing its status as a key facilitator of innovation and business opportunities in the global jewellery landscape.
