Pioneering the future of luxury and innovation, Crash.club by C. Krishniah Chetty Group (CKC) has unveiled a groundbreaking creation, a 7.93-carat ring crafted entirely from a single lab-grown diamond, with no metal setting whatsoever.
This revolutionary design transforms the idea of jewelry craftsmanship, merging advanced material science with timeless artistry. The ring stands as a world-class innovation in sustainable, modern luxury, highlighting India’s growing leadership in the global lab-grown diamond space.
A Three-Year Engineering Masterpiece
The journey from concept to creation spanned three meticulous years, the first for research, the second for experimentation, and the third for microscopic refinement and finishing.
Engineered from a single-crystal CVD lab-grown diamond, the ring required extensive mapping of atomic orientation to prevent any natural cleavage planes from intersecting stress points. Every curve was computationally modeled to ensure balanced pressure distribution and maximum durability.
Cutting with Light: Femtosecond Laser Precision
To carve a ring from a solid diamond, Crash.club employed femtosecond laser technology, a cutting-edge method that prevents heat-induced microfractures. The final finishing process utilised diamond-on-diamond polishing, resulting in flawless optical clarity and smooth, continuous curves.
Over 70% of the diamond’s original mass was lost during the sculpting process, a testament to the precision and patience that went into it. Unlike traditional faceted cuts, this design follows a “continuous curvature” form, allowing light to flow naturally through the ring’s body.
A Symbol of Sustainable Luxury
This creation not only showcases India’s technological mastery but also reinforces the eco-conscious philosophy of Crash.club and the CKC Group. By using lab-grown diamonds instead of mined stones, the brand underlines its commitment to responsible luxury, sustainability, and innovation.
Exclusivity and Price
With prices starting from INR 49 lakh, this no-metal diamond ring is not a conventional ornament but a collectible sculpture in diamond form. It showcases CKC’s 150-year legacy blended with futuristic design thinking.
The project began with a client’s intriguing question — “Can you make a ring without gold?” — and today, Crash.club has answered it with brilliance and boldness.
Beyond Tradition: India’s New Era of Diamond Design
Crash.club’s innovation follows the brand’s recent milestones, including the sale of India’s largest retail lab-grown diamonds, a 20.06-carat emerald cut and a 21.82-carat round brilliant, together known as “The Legacy Duo.”
From engineering marvels to sustainable elegance, Crash.club is redefining Indian luxury jewelry proving that technology and artistry can indeed coexist within a single gemstone.
