IIG South Students of Gems & Diamond visited Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. on 2nd February 2023. Students were able to witness various processes involved in the creation of precious diamonds, right before their eyes. At Hari Krishna, the students learned about the entire process of diamond cutting and polishing, from rough stones to sparkling diamonds. They were able to see the highly skilled artisans at work and understand the precision and attention to detail that goes into every diamond.
But the learning didn’t stop there. The students were also educated on the different grades and qualities of diamonds, and how to evaluate them based on the 4 Cs – Carat weight, Cut, Clarity, and Color. They discovered how these factors impact the value and beauty of a diamond and learned how to make informed purchasing decisions.
We are proud to have our students experience the scenes of making diamonds at Hari Krishna Diamond Factory. We believe that this visit will inspire them to appreciate the beauty of diamonds, and the hard work and passion that goes into creating them.

The students also had the privilege of visiting Hari Krishna Jewels Pvt. Ltd. They were able to see, touch, & appreciate the stunning pieces of Jewelry that have been crafted with care and precision
by the artisans at Hari Krishna. The students were greeted by a dazzling array of Jewels. They were amazed by the attention to detail and the intricate designs that have been created with the finest
materials. The students were also able to learn about the different styles and trends in Jewelry design, and how they have evolved over time.
They were able to meet with experts in the field, ask questions about the industry and the challenges they face and gain a deeper understanding of the industry and the process of creating beautiful Jewelry.

The students had the opportunity to delve into the world of diamonds, as they visited the bustling Mahidharpura Diamond Market in Surat. They were able to see diamonds that are bought & sold.
At Mahidharpura, the students were able to see the different types of diamonds on offer, from rough stones to cut and polished diamonds. They were amazed by the sheer volume of diamonds on display, and the variety of sizes, shapes, and colors.

But the visit was not just about diamonds. The students were also able to see the various tools and equipment used in the industry and learn about the different processes involved in cutting and polishing diamonds.
We are proud to give practical knowledge to our students by taking them to the Diamond Factory & Diamond Market, with a glimpse into the heart of the diamond industry. Overall it was an amazing experience.
