📌 Role Includes:
As a Gemology & Diamond Faculty, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, curriculum-based education with a practical industry approach. You will:
- Teach core concepts in Gemstone / Diamond Identification, Grading, Valuation, and Certification Standards
- Provide students with hands-on experience using professional tools like microscopes, loupes, refractometers, and other gemological instruments
- Conduct detailed lab demonstrations involving natural, treated, and synthetic gemstones
- Explain technical aspects of the 4Cs, clarity plotting, proportion analysis, and diamond valuation
- Mentor and evaluate students, offering continuous feedback and career guidance
- Help maintain lab equipment and ensure safety and accuracy in all testing procedures
- Stay updated with current industry trends, treatments, synthetics, and market practices
🎓 Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Gemology, Diamond Grading, or a related field from a recognized institutes
- Minimum 2 years of industry or academic experience in gemstone/diamond grading
- Strong command over gemological and diamond grading tools, including advanced testing methods
- Knowledge of gem treatments, synthetics, simulants, and global valuation standards
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passionate about education, mentoring, and industry growth
